I love your joy filled musings! I find joy in many of the same things, except the morning; I am not a morning person. 😂. After the sun is well up and nights are when I come alive. Beautifully written.

I feel this joy. It’s found in the simplest things. I see a lot of people that have no joy and wallow through life trying to Mount the next big thing and miss the joy right in front of them.

Absolutely, Tristan. I can often be one of them. It takes work and practice for many people. Got to take in the small things, eh?

Thanks for being around, Tristan.

Great great read. I really appreciate the joy you experience. Joy for me isn't very predictable. When I plan something for myself that I believe will bring joy, it typically gets smothered by nonsense. But cooking a good meal for my wife and enjoying the food together, especially if we've harvested a portion, joy.

Just for myself, an evening espresso, thick sipping espresso with a hint of caramel on the back end (if you know, you know). There are things that make it better but not necessary. My caffeine addiction runs deep but occasionally brings me great joy. Joy happens otherwise, thankfully I never know where or when it's coming.

Ha. Very cool man. Yeah the dinners and harvesting are quite nice. I live in the city now, so it is mostly patio-grown herbs, but we used to have a plot of land where we did a little more.

Joy comes sometimes when we forget to remember that we are in play. I don't want to ever think I am playing, because I want it to be the default. ha. If that makes any sense.

It does. I don't have default play. I do think about it, but it's somewhat rewarding. Every creative project I think I get closer to the "whimsy" side. I think of it as old majick. Like what Crowley was trying to sell. (I say sell cause he was kinda grifty).
