What an untethered, creative adventure you’ve taken; at 75, I must admit a bit of jealousy. Let’s see your art…

I was thinking about a more visual post soon, with some visuals. Thanks, Robert. You can also go to Judsonvereen.com - it is where a good chunk of my paintings (among other things) can be found. Your still young enough to get into trouble! ha.

I was living in Austell in 1986. I was 4 and beginning my creative process myself. I dearly love loose connections like these. I used to stare into maps trying to connect my home in Michigan to my past home in Georgia. I found some.

Ah, I see. Near Douglasville...and Six Flags? ha. Very cool, Taryn! I still have a few brothers in Georgia. Don't ever really go back, though..

Yes. I had family working at Six Flags so I was there a ton. We moved “home” to Michigan in 89’ or 90’ though.

Reading this I admire you. Your pursuit of art. I sometimes feel like the underground man. I get bored of everything. Keep moving forward and doing what you are doing.

I love your prose, I found you threw Poetic Outlaws and I’m looking forward to reading your poetry.

Thanks Tristan. That is great. I have done some poetry readings (recorded video) on my page here, and will publish/recite more. Glad to have you here in this space. Looking forward to it and thanks for your subscribing! Means a lot. Truly does. I have lots of things in the works for this page. See ya round the way...

I thought that looked familiar! Couldn't remember if it was from the book, or from the travel log. Both were great reads, and everyone should indulge themselves and check them out (and American Pleasure too).

"...my parents enrolled me into the Woodward Academy, a private military type of school full of southern-type golfers—the children of the elite. I got on just fine with some of them. I was a horrible student. I rebelled every inch of the way. I had horrible acne and to the girls I liked I professed my love in letters that were pages long. I scared the hell out of them, and they never liked me back."

My experience at Woodward was much the same. Especially with the girls. Glad to see you're well and still making beautiful art, Judson.
